Solgar® has developed the Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3 Formula for bone health care. The absorption and fixation of calcium in bone requires vitamin D, a fat-soluble vitamin. This formula combines both compounds for better results.

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body and is stored mainly in the bones. It is necessary for the proper maintenance of bones and teeth.

With age, calcium absorption can decrease, so it is important to ensure an adequate calcium intake in the diet by consuming dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese. Providing an adequate level of calcium as part of a healthy and balanced diet, along with physical activity, may reduce bone-related problems in old age.

In this product, calcium is presented in citrate form, a mineral form that is more easily absorbed than other commonly used forms of calcium.

Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D that the body can easily use and that contributes to calcium absorption and the maintenance of blood calcium levels. The benefits of what is known as the “sunshine vitamin” are many and well-documented, mainly for the maintenance of bones and teeth and for the functioning of the immune system.

In addition, both calcium and vitamin D help with muscle function.

Calcium (citrate); Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate; Anti-caking agents: vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide; Cross-linked cellulose gum; Glazing agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, vegetable glycerin (rapeseed oil); Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

For adults, take four (4) tablets daily, preferably with meals.
Swallow the tablets with water or another drink.
Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose for this product.
Keep the container tightly closed at room temperature.
Do not consume the product if the inner seal is damaged.
This product contains ingredients that may result in a normal variation in color and appearance over time.
