    Lizipaina is an oropharyngeal medication indicated for the relief of sore throat, pharyngeal irritation, hoarseness, and small mouth ulcers. It combines two active ingredients that work together: Chlorhexidine, an antiseptic disinfectant that eliminates bacteria, and Benzocaine, a local anesthetic that provides rapid pain relief.

    This dual combination offers effective disinfection plus local and temporary symptomatic relief for mild mouth and throat infections without fever. Suitable for adults, adolescents, and children from 6 years of age.

    Dosage

    The recommended dosage of Lizipaina is:

    Adults, adolescents, and children ≥ 6 years: 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours
    Maximum: 8 lozenges per day
    Always use the minimum effective dose.
    Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
    If fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting occur, consult your doctor.
    If you do not improve within 2 days, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
    Method of Administration

    Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in your mouth.
    Do not chew or swallow it.
    Its action is local, so it must be in direct contact with the affected area.
    Avoid eating or drinking immediately after taking it, due to the anesthetic effect.
