    Bravecto 1000 mg is an oral antiparasitic veterinary medicine, formulated with fluralaner, indicated for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in dogs weighing over 20 kg and up to 40 kg.

    Its chewable tablet presentation facilitates administration and provides prolonged antiparasitic action, with a duration that depends on the parasite species and authorized indications.

    Characteristics of Bravecto 1000 mg

    • For dogs over 20 to 40 kg: specific presentation for large dogs.
    • Active ingredient: 1000 mg of fluralaner per tablet.
    • Against fleas and ticks: treatment of external parasite infestations.
    • Prolonged protection: activity of up to 12 weeks against certain species of fleas and ticks, according to the technical data sheet.
    • Oral administration: chewable tablet.
    • Presentation: pack containing 1 tablet.

     

    What is Bravecto for dogs used for?

    Bravecto contains fluralaner, an active substance of the isoxazoline group used in the treatment of flea and tick infestations.

    The technical data sheet also covers the treatment of demodicosis caused by Demodex canis and sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis.

    Bravecto 1000 mg is intended for dogs weighing over 20 kg and up to 40 kg.

    It is administered orally, at or around the time of feeding, following veterinary prescription.

    Do not divide or break the tablet. The treatment regimen and interval between administrations should be established in accordance with the product specifications and the veterinarian's instructions.

    Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to fluralaner or any of its excipients.

    Use with caution in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy.

    Consult a veterinarian before administering the medication.
