BRAVECTO DOG 4.5 - 10KG

Oral administration: Dogs: 25 to 56 mg of fluralaner per kg.
From 4.5 to 10 kg: 1 tablet of 250 mg for small dogs.

Precautions for use and warnings for target species:
— In the absence of data, do not use in puppies less than 8 weeks old or in dogs weighing less than 2 kg.
— Do not administer the product at intervals of less than 8 weeks, as its safety at shorter intervals has not been tested.
— For the animal to be exposed to fluralaner, the parasites must have started feeding on it. Therefore, the risk of transmission of parasitic diseases cannot be ruled out.

Precautions during gestation or lactation:
It can be used in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs. The safety of the product has been demonstrated in these cases.

Interactions:


Fluralaner is highly bound to plasma proteins. This may lead to competition with other highly protein-bound molecules, such as NSAIDs and coumarin derivatives (warfarin). Incubation of fluralaner with carprofen or warfarin in canine plasma at the expected maximum plasma concentrations did not reduce the binding of these drugs to plasma proteins.
In clinical field trials, no interactions with commonly used veterinary medicines were observed.
