La enzima de la eterna juventud

The enzyme of eternal youth

All of the genetic information in our cells is found in the chromosomes, specifically in the DNA. Cells divide about 50 times during their lifespan. The protection system that keeps the DNA intact during cell division is known as telomeres.

Telomeres are caps at the end of the chromosome, formed by repetitive DNA. Every time a cell divides, the telomeres shorten, thereby protecting the DNA information and keeping it intact. We can use the analogy of a rubber band holding a braid; when the rubber band breaks, the braid comes undone. Telomeres would be those rubber bands, which hold the DNA together. Over time, the telomeres become so short that the cell undergoes cellular aging, degrading and no longer dividing.

Biological age may not coincide with chronological age.

This telomeric shortening causes cell aging and health problems, such as neurodegenerative or cardiovascular diseases. The tissues most affected by this degradation of the telomeres are those of the skin, hair, and immune system, because they reproduce more frequently. Wear and tear on telomeres can increase the risk of cancer. Cancer cells can use degraded cells to replicate and become immortal.

There is a substance that repairs telomeres, called the enzyme telomerase. It can slow down, stop, or even reverse the shortening of telomeres that occurs as we age.

Telomerase is present in embryonic development, but when we are born we stop synthesizing it in most cells, and as we age it disappears. Exposing human cells to telomerase lengthens the telomeres and manages to delay cell aging, since it allows them to begin copying themselves again. The cells function as if they were younger.

It is believed that there are 20% hereditary factors and 80% environmental factors that control this shortening of telomerase. Among the factors where we can reduce telomere shortening are measures such as reducing stress, quitting smoking, losing weight, exercising more, and eating a healthier diet.

Among the nutritional supplements that have been shown to be effective in activating telomerase and lengthening telomeres is TA-65®. A decade of studies supports its safety and efficacy. It has been tested all over the world with good results, preventing the natural aging process from accelerating at the cellular level.

The active ingredient of TA-65® is Cycloastragenol, a substance isolated from various species of legumes of the Astragalus genus. It has been proven through studies on human CD4 and CD8 T cells that it is capable of activating telomerase, preventing cellular aging.

TA-65® is formulated with a patented process that prevents its active ingredient from being digested in the stomach and ensures it reaches the blood, increasing absorption into the cells. No other product uses this patented technology.

To improve its efficacy, it should be taken on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended doses. It should not be used in people under 25 years of age.
